Dr. Arnab Karmakar is a very nice man who answered all of my many questions prior to and after my surgery. It has been 4 weeks since my anterior full hip replacement and I am doing very well. I was pleased with his bedside manor, he had no arrogance and I never felt rushed at an appointment. The doctor is unable to do a successful fracture reduction. One of my aunt, a cancer patient is not cured at all by his treatment and the doctor couldn't fix her broken arm. When the plaster removed after one month he initially refused to undergo for an X-ray report, moreover, he saied "she is a cancer patient, what more can be done?" And misbehaved so rudely !!! Henceforth he took full fee despite of his failure. I myself recommend Dr. Karmakar to my aunt checking google reviews, but truly disappointed especially by his behaviour. Worst experience ever till date 😔

In one word Dr. Arnab Karmakar is an impeccable Orthopedic surgeon. When I met him for the first time, I was mentally devastated and completely lost hope that I would ever be able to regain normal walking. After suffering for several months with a muscle tear, recurrence of abscess behind my knee and after having a surgery in Europe where I work and reside, I almost lost all hopes of getting back to my normal self. From my first visit to Dr. Karmakar when I came to Kolkata to visit my family, he continuously encouraged me and gave me confidence with his calmness. After the surgery performed by him for the abscess removal and muscle reconstruction, I'm gradually getting back my normal life after almost a year. His best quality is his compassion and empathy. He is a rare example of being the doctor for mass. During my several visits to him, I noticed his way of treating all the patients equally, irrespective of their socio-economic background, which is extremely difficult to find in our society these days. I wish him all the luck and I believe many more patients like me will get a new life because of him.
